Launch a coin

Launching takes four steps and one signature from your own wallet. Here is what each step asks and what it locks in.

  1. Name your coin

Name, ticker (2 to 10 letters or numbers), image, description and optional links. This is the coin itself.
  2. Pick its mandate

Choose one of the five mandates. It is the only thing the fund's agent may do, and it can never be changed.
  3. Split the fees

Choose your share of the coin's fees, from 0% to 50%. The rest, at least half, goes to the fund. You can also add a first buy in the same transaction.
  4. Check and launch

Review everything, see every cost, and sign. The coin, the fee split and the fund are created together.

What it costs

Launching on Bips
No launch fee. You pay Solana network and account fees, a few hundredths of a SOL.
Your first buy
Optional. Bought on the curve at the curve price.
Trading fee
1% on every buy and sell, paid by traders: 0.60% to your coin's side, 0.20% to Bips, 0.20% to Meteora.
Bips's cut
20 bips of every trade. Nothing from the fund or its profit. Final rates are published before launch.

What gets locked

Your coin is created on Bips's bonding curve with its fund wallet as the fee owner, and the split is part of that launch. From that moment the split, the mandate and the limits are fixed. Nobody can redirect the fees: not you, not Bips.

Choose carefully

There is no edit button after launch. If you want a different mandate or split, that is a new coin.

Bips is not live yet. This page describes the design and may change before launch.
