Fees and the bips cut

Every SOL on Bips has a path you can follow. Here is the whole map.

  1. Trades pay a fee

1% on every buy and sell of the coin. 0.60% of the volume is the coin's share, 0.20% goes to Bips and 0.20% to Meteora.
  2. The split

Of the coin's share, at least 50% goes to the fund. The creator picks their share, from 0% to 50%, at launch.
  3. The fund trades

    Inside its mandate and limits.
  4. Profit above the mark

All of it buys back and burns the coin.
  5. The bips cut

Bips's 20 bips of every trade buy back and burn $BIPS.

After graduation

When the curve fills, the coin moves to a normal Meteora pool, not PumpSwap. Its liquidity is locked there, split between the fund and Bips in the same proportions as the curve fees, and the locked liquidity keeps earning trading fees. So the fund keeps filling for as long as the coin trades.

What Bips takes

No launch fee. Bips takes 20 bips (0.20%) of every trade on a Bips coin and spends all of it buying back and burning $BIPS. It takes nothing from a fund or its profit. Final rates are published before launch.

Fees in are not returns

The board shows fees each fund has taken in. That is not money anyone gets back.

Bips is not live yet. This page describes the design and may change before launch.
